Sarah brings a well-rounded foundation in bankruptcy and litigation, with early career experience representing financial institutions in Chapter 13 proceedings and handling real estate disputes in both state and federal courts across Texas. This dual exposure has shaped her ability to approach matters with both procedural precision and a broader strategic lens.
A first-generation college graduate, Sarah earned her Bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas before obtaining her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, she was an active member of the South Texas Law Review and the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She developed a strong academic concentration in complex business and transactional subjects, including antitrust, business bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulation.
Her academic accomplishments include the John F. Ensle Award, the Dean's Merit Scholarship, the Fred Parks Academic Merit Scholarship, and the Transactional Law Practice Certificate. She was also named to the Dean's Honor List for four semesters, reflecting consistent academic excellence.
With nearly eight years of legal experience, Sarah is recognized for her disciplined, analytical approach and her ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable strategies. She prioritizes precision, depth, and practical outcomes, ensuring her work aligns with the business objectives of her clients.
Sarah is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Outside of her practice, she enjoys non-fiction reading, attending concerts, distance running, and international travel.
