Roy is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience handling real estate and title matters. He enjoys working with his clients to solve complex problems in an efficient and thoughtful manner.
Roy has a multifaceted real estate background. As an associate attorney for a mortgage banking law firm, he resolved title issues for banks, noteholders, credit unions, and mortgage servicers. As an in-house counsel for a national title insurance underwriter, he investigated lender and owner title claims. Roy has experience resolving ownership disputes, chain of title defects, outstanding lien issues, heirship conflicts, and various foreclosure-related matters.
Roy has also worked as an attorney for a statewide probate law firm, where he was able to assist many families during their time of need. He has handled numerous testate and intestate administrations, including contested matters pertaining to fiduciary obligations, estate distributions, and creditor claims. Because of his background, he is well-versed in the intersection of probate law and real estate law.
Roy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Texas and his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law.
