Mignon is a current law student at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is in her second year of law school and is working towards completing a business law concentration upon graduation. Mignon serves on the board of SMU's Corporate Law Association and also participates in Women-in-Law. In school, she has particularly enjoyed her Property and Business Enterprise courses. She also volunteers for Catholic Charities where she assists Afghanistan refugees apply for asylum.
Prior to interning for The Keller Firm, Mignon interned for the in-house legal team of the leading international operator of pawn stores. Here, she worked with in-house counsel to resolve legal issues for 2,800+ pawn shops across the US and Latin America. In this role, she focused on real estate and personal injury lawsuits. Mignon obtained her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University where she graduated summa cum laude with majors Psychology and Business and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Throughout undergrad, Mignon worked as a courier for a mid-size law firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Additionally, prior to attending LSU, Mignon was an office assistant for a family law firm in Shreveport, Louisiana.
